Snow Day Fun

It's snowing--again! In all our years in Georgia I do not recall one with so much snow. For those of you in colder climates who are sniggering--an inch IS a lot of snow here! Presently we have that much on the ground and if the weatherman's predictions hold true, at least 10 more hours of it ahead.

While not a complete 'snow day' at our house, we are a bit laid back today. I thought I would share some of my favorite finds online this week.

"When Christ calls a man, he bid him come and die." While I've read a bit on the life of Bonhoeffer, I have not read any of his books so this is particularly exciting. Martyred in a German prison in 1945, Bonhoeffer preached the Gospel at all cost.

Fifty Reasons Why Jesus Came to Die by John Piper.
It seems everyone but myself has read a book by John Piper. I'm looking forward to listening to this audio during March.
